Engagements
We headed out on the Seward Highway for this engagement session. Lindsay & Steve are getting married in California and needed some quintessential Alaskan shots. We had spotted this Alaskan railway train parked near Girdwood while passing by and always wanted to go out there for some shots. The setting sun provided some gorgeous lighting for this awesome couple. Congrats Lindsay & Steve! We wish you lots of fun and love on your special day!
We met Jen & Chase at Kincaid Park for an engagement shoot on a fall afternoon. As the sun set, we got some beautiful light and clouds (definitely something you don't get in coastal California!). We had tons of fun getting to know Jen & Chase and picking their brains about good places to eat in Anchorage! Congrats Jen & Chase on your upcoming wedding!
After being rained out the week before, we finally got to meet Summer & James. We shot their engagement session on the Santa Barbara Pier, which was decorated for the holidays. Summer was a trooper and braved the wharf's cracks and pits with a pair of cute pumps.
It was a little dreary and overcast when we showed up at Douglas Family Preserve for Vanessa & Adam's engagement shoot. No beautiful Santa Barbara sky could be found. Fortunately for us we had a beautiful couple to work with. Looking forward to shooting your wedding next year!
Nick and Tara chose Alice Keck Park and the Rose Garden at the Santa Barbara Mission for their engagement shoot in late August. Nick is an avid photographer so the boys could talk cameras and electronic gadgets while Tara and I commiserated over their exuberant excitement over things with buttons to push. Thanks Nick and Tara for a fun summer day. We are excited to shoot your wedding!
We begain our session at the Santa Barbara Botanical Gardens and made our way to Butterfly Beach in Montecito for a beautiful sunset over the Santa Barbara coastline!
