With the 2012 wedding season behind us and the 2013 season raring to go, Bear & Penguin Photography made its annual migration to Hawai'i to visit family. This year we took a vacation from our vacation to the island of Kaua'i. We spent our five days cruising around the island, eating, relaxing and taking mini-hikes here and there. One of these days we'll come back and do the entire Na Pali trail. We traveled to the end of the highway on both sides of the Na Pali coast and each time we arrived in the late afternoon. By that time the clouds hugged the mountains and obscured our view of the coastline. Our trip was filled with sunshine, beauty, and lots of chickens.
P.S. - Note on the "winter is coming" photo. We came across a white SUV covered in dirt. There was the obligatory "wash me" written into the film but also the Game of Thrones reference.
