Tim & Jennifer held their ceremony at Casa de Maria in Montecito. The energy at this particular site was very different from the other weddings we have shot. Quiet, peaceful, and strong. No frantic activity. No fuss. Just love. Jennifer had the wonderful idea to entertain her guests on a trolley tour through Santa Barbara and thus we got to do some fun trolley shots. Congrats Jennifer & Tim!
Nick and Tara chose Alice Keck Park and the Rose Garden at the Santa Barbara Mission for their engagement shoot in late August. Nick is an avid photographer so the boys could talk cameras and electronic gadgets while Tara and I commiserated over their exuberant excitement over things with buttons to push. Thanks Nick and Tara for a fun summer day. We are excited to shoot your wedding!
Dariella & Tony got married on the beach Santa Barbara style and finished up the party at the Santa Barbara Hyatt. We loved all of the little personal and thoughtful touches, many of which were handmade by Dariella, including a beach flip-flop station and foot charms. Not to mention they had a fabulously choreographed first dance! Congrats Tony & Dariella!

It was a beautiful day in Chase Palm Park for a wedding! We've been so lucky to work with so many great couples and Jessica & Josh are no exception. Quirky cuteness sums up this couple and their wedding. Jessica's mom made her dress and hair piece. Josh's bow tie was chosen before his suit. We loved the little splashes of color here and there. Not overstated but just enough to show off their personalities. Their ceremony was filled with speeches from their parents and friends. Their table were named after meaningful books. And to top it off, Jess' dad presided over the nuptials. It was an extremely touching ceremony that left many people in tears (including Julia!)

Yesterday we met up with Conor & Josh to capture their engagement photos at the Santa Barbara Presidio and then Butterfly Beach. The weather was a perfect 75 degrees, the water was cold, and the photos came out great! We're looking forward to your wedding in October!
